San Miguel defeat Alaska (replay) result, recap May 27, 2017

The San Miguel Beermen bounced back from last week’s loss and vented their frustration on struggling Alaska Aces, 109-97, in their 2017 PBA Commissioner’s Cup match on Saturday night at the Ynares Center in Antipolo.

Fresh from a huge defeat at the hands of Barangay Ginebra last Sunday, SMB controlled most part of the game this time and even erected a 22-point lead, despite not getting usual production from three-time MVP June Mar Fajardo who suffered from flu.

Alex Cabagnot starred in the game and stuffed the stat sheets after going away with game-high 25 points built around five triples, to go along with ten rebounds, six assists and three steals, giving his team its seventh win that earned them a share of second spot with Ginebra.
