Talk n Text def. Phoenix Fuel final 134-109 score result recap - March 26, 2017

TNT Ka-Tropa has nothing but gratitude for Lou Amundson, who coach Nash Racela called as the 'good substitute' in the Texters' campaign in the PBA Commissioner's Cup.

The 10-year NBA veteran led TNT to a 134-109 rout of Phoenix on Sunday night before giving way to Donte Greene, the team's first choice to replace Denzel Bowles before the tournament began.

Racela explained Amundson was just given a two-week contract as a stand-in for Greene, who was still processing his papers to play in the country.

The 6-8 Amundson finished with 20 points and eight rebounds but looked a whole lot better than he did on Friday in a loss to Meralco.

When he was finally taken off midway through the fourth period, Amundson was greeted with a standing ovation from teammates appreciative of what he's done for TNT in two games.

With the way Amundson performed, Racela is confident the journeyman will soon find a home elsewhere as he finally get a grasp of being an import overseas after playing as a role player for 11 NBA teams.
