Alaska made a big opening salvo as hits from Calvin Abueva and RJ Jazul in transition and long-range bombs from Henton and Dondon Hontiveros made it a 10-1 run for the Aces, which surged ahead, 92-83, early in the fourth quarter.

Kevin Racal gave Alaska a lead of as high as 11, 98-87, at the seven minute mark of the game.

But Rain or Shine worked their way back into the game, getting some easy points from the charity stripe while also getting some huge three-pointers from Quinahan and Lee.

Lee’s trey at the 1:22 mark of the game gave the Elasto Painters a 108-106 lead.

After an empty possession for Henton and Alaska, Jeff Chan made one of the biggest shots in the game, draining a pull-up jumper from the midrange to make it a four-point game, 110-106.

Chan also finished with double-digit scoring, tallying 10 points in the game.

Abueva tallied 17 points and eight rebounds for Alaska before fouling out in the last minute of the game.
