Mahindra had a chance to seal the game with just 33 seconds left but Alex Cabagnot disrupted the Enforcer’s play with a steal.

Deciding not to call a timeout, the Beermen went to Reid who tried to snatch the win with a triple. But his shot was too strong, allowing Mahindra to escape with the win.

KG Canaleta added 17 points for Mahindra which also got 12 markers from Taha.

Cabagnot finished with 15 points while Fajardo chipped in 13 points and 10 boards for San Miguel which fell to 2-1.
