The Alaska Aces continue their pursuit of an automatic berth in the semifinals of the 2015-2016 Philippine Basketball Association Philippine Cup conference when they battle the San Miguel Beermen 7 p.m. Wednesday, Dec. 16 at the Araneta Coliseum.
The top two teams after the elimination round advance automatically to the semifinals this conference.
The Aces (7 wins, 2 losses) and the Rain Or Shine Elasto Painters (7-2), tied at second place, are both chasing an automatic berth to the semifinal.
Alaska, San Miguel Beer (9-1) and Rain Or Shine could conceivably end up in a triple tie for first place if the Aces and the Elasto Painters win their two remaining games.

Manuel scored a game-high 24 points and grabbed a game-high nine rebounds for the Aces against the Elasto Painters. Baguio had 14 points and two assists.
