Meralco vs Talk n Text Nov 11 2015 - Philippine Cup The 2015–16 PBA season will be the 41st season of the Philippine Basketball Association. The league will continue to use the three-conference format, starting with the Philippine Cup.
The Commissioner’s Cup and the Governors’ Cup are the second and third conferences in the upcoming season.

This season will also be the first season of Chito Narvasa as the PBA commissioner Chito Salud announced his resignation at the end of the 2014–15 season.

Salud, however, will remain with the PBA as he will be the new President and CEO of the league.
The first event of the season was the 2015 PBA draft which was held on August 23.

The Talk ‘N Text Tropang Texters, playing against their former captain Jimmy Alapag for the first time, cruised to a rout of sister team Meralco, 105-91, to notch a second victory in the SMART BRO PBA Philippine Cup on Wednesday at the Philsports Arena.

Matt Ganuelas-Rosser scored a game-high 19 points while No. 1 overall pick Moala Tautuaa finished with 18 points and nine rebounds to lead the way for Talk ‘N Text, which improved to 2-1 for the season.

Jayson Castro scored 15 points while Tautuaa’s fellow rookie Troy Rosario added 14 on 6-for-7 shooting from the field to help the Tropang Texters’ cause.
