Reigning titlist Star Hotshots once again displayed their championship form as they turned back the GlobalPort Batang Pier, 101-94, for the second straight time to book a ticket to the PBA Governors’ Cup semifinals Sunday at SMART-Araneta Coliseum.

Import Marqus Blakely delivered a triple-double performance of 15 points, 16 rebounds and 11 assists as the Hotshots overcame GlobalPort’s twice-to-beat edge in the quarterfinals to keep the defense bid of their remaining Grand Slam jewel last year alive.

Stanley Pringle scored all of his 16 points in the second half but it wasn’t enough for GlobalPort which was able to climb back from 21 points down. Jarrid Famous also had a monster game of 38 points and 21 rebounds.
