San Miguel vs Meralco(replay) [Governors Cup] Sept. 24, 2017

The San Miguel Beermen is scheduled for a head-to-head game against the Meralco Bolts at 6:45 P.M. on September 24, 2017 live from the Smart Araneta Coliseum. San Miguel’s current position in the standings is somehow deceiving, they may currently sits at the fifth spot but two teams (Talk ‘N Text KaTropa Texters and Barangay Ginebra San Miguel) of the top four squads bowed down to them.


This only mean one thing, if San Miguel able to defeat the Meralco Bolts tonight and force a five or four team ties then the Beermen will automatically get the twice-to-beat advantage and push the “Never-Say-Die” ballclub to number five.




For coach Tim Cone on the other hand, despite of winning eight games this third conference and currently at the top of the standings. Barangay Ginebra squad still feel that they’re in a “must win” situation.
